She Plays Pop Music of the Future

Today in Medical Terminology, we learned about the origin of the heart shape. It’s based on the shape of the silphium seed, which was used in antiquity as birth control. The plant was such an important export that they put the symbol on their coins. And then silphium plants were over-harvested and now they’re extinct.  In Math Appreciation, we learned about how the universe is either going to end from heat death or implode.
